We are a home-based micro bakery located in Calgary's southeast community of Copperfield.
We offer a diverse selection of artisanal sourdough breads, all made without yeast. Whether you're after something soft for sandwiches or a crusty loaf for dipping, we've got plenty to choose from! Please head to our HOME page to browse through the menu.
Unfortunately, we do not offer gluten-free options at our bakery. We take great care in our baking process, but since we work with various types of flour, cross-contamination can occur due to the volatile nature of flour. We want to ensure the highest quality and safety for all our customers, and as such, we recommend those with gluten sensitivities to avoid our products. Thank you for your understanding!
Just head to our online store and browse the selection under the SHOP section. Once you’ve selected your items, add them to your cart and choose the ‘In-Person Pickup' option at checkout. You’ll be able to select a convenient pickup time, and we’ll have your order ready for you when you arrive.
Please note, the online store is set up in a way that allows us a minimum of 3 days for order fulfillment (for pick-up orders). Depending on the current week's BAKING SCHEDULE, sometimes we can fulfill orders sooner.
Our BAKING SCHEDULE is based on the orders placed earlier in the week, and it’s finalized and posted over the weekend. Because it changes weekly depending on demand, we update it regularly to reflect availability and any adjustments. To stay in the loop, you can sign up for our newsletter and receive the schedule directly in your inbox every week, so you’ll always know when to expect your favorite breads!
We offer delivery within Calgary city limits and to select nearby areas. For orders within Calgary, if your total is under $75, there’s a delivery fee of $12. However, for orders over $75, delivery is free! We also deliver to Cochrane for a flat fee of $30, and to Okotoks and Chestermere for $20.
You can pay with cash, e-transfers, or credit and debit cards.
To keep your sourdough bread fresh, store it at room temperature in a paper bag or wrapped in a clean kitchen towel. Avoid plastic bags, as they can trap moisture and make the crust soggy. If you need to keep it for longer, you can slice the bread and freeze it. Just make sure to wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or foil, and place it in an airtight container. When you’re ready to enjoy it, toast the slices straight from the freezer or let them thaw at room temperature. This way, you’ll enjoy that delicious crust and texture for as long as possible!
